Most Affordable on the Main Line?
As a first-time home buyer or an investor I am somtimes asked, are there any houses on the Main Line at or under $300K? While there is only a very limited supply of properties in that price range not including condos or apartments, there are some great Townhouses and Twin-homes at or under $300K.
How do you define the Main Line?
Trying to determine what exactly is the Main Line? where one town ends and another begins, which township, county, school district etc. at best can be daunting to decipher. The Main Line is made up of a group of towns ranging from unincorporated communities, villages, boroughs and incorporated communities.
There are definitely great investment opportunities .
Lower Merion and Radnor townships are definitely the Main Line and very desirable. Tredyfrrin-Easttown is also great a bit farther out in Chester County. The school district is an important factor that drives property values and Lower Merion and Radnor are the “it” places. Many people consider buying a home in Lower Merion or Radnor a secure investment because their children will benefit from the education in the Lower Merion or Radnor school districts.
